The Shoreham Catalyst Club starting Tuesday 26 April 7.30pm Ropetackle Arts Centre
A night out with a difference, The Shoreham Catalyst Club is a monthly event that serves up the old tradition of the French Salon in a cabaret setting. Be inspired and entertained as three guest speakers take to the stage to talk for fifteen minutes each, on a subject close to their heart. Expect everything from local history, art, philosophy, culture and folklore to the history of Marmite, Aspergers, bad waxworks, Plato’s Republic, slime mould and how to fend off a bear attack!
The Catalyst Club is hosted by author and BBC radio presenter Dr David Bramwell in partnership with Shoreham Wordfest.
Speakers are booked in advance; topics are kept top secret until the night….but we can give you advance notice that the first night will include our own local actress and playwright, Janet Behan.
The Club will be in the foyer bar of Ropetackle Arts Centre and starts 7.30pm Tickets are £8.
Future dates are on Tuesday evenings:
- 17 May
- 21 June
- 19 July
The Catalyst Club is open to all. To offer a talk or be added to the mailing list: info@drbramwell.com
