Tuesday 21 February 7.30pm Ropetackle Foyer
Be sure to book your ticket for this month’s Shoreham Catalyst Club, hosted by Doctor David Bramwell at the Ropetackle Arts Centre, in partnership with Wordfest.
January’s session had to turn people away at the door as a full house was held spellbound by a trio of engaging speakers covering topics strange, curious and humorous.
Charlie Beddoes shared the highs and lows of a life in music; Andy Gibson introduced us to the world of sound recording (and why a tea strainer is essential for recording firearms); and Dr B gave a talk called The Biggest Tongue in Tunisia, celebrating the life and work of a cartoonist, B. Kliban.
February will feature ‘dark tourism’ enthusiast Suzanne Rolfe, Shoreham painter and notable man about town, Malcolm Hardy and, from Brighton’s Snoopers’ Paradise, Kelle Kingsley.
