Joseph Coelho: Fairy Tales Gone Bad – Children’s poetry and story-telling age 6+

October 13 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

- Free – £20.00 at Ropetackle Arts Centre

Join Joseph Coelho, children’s author, poet and former Children’s Laureate as he shares his route in to writing and the journey from idea to book for his Fairytales Gone Bad Series, illustrated by Freya Hartas.

Joseph will also be sharing a sneak peak from his brand-new series – expect magic and adventure galore.  This will be an interactive event for children and adults alike.

Joseph has created many books of poetry and stories for children from early years to junior years and upwards, all beautifully illustrated and to great acclaim:  “This is a touching reflection on the power of reading to bring families together.” Amnesty International comment on Luna loves Library Day.

Joseph has a mission to visit every library in the country.  In 2022 he was nominated the Waterstone’s Children’s Laureate and in 2023 he became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
