Pighog Poetry Evening
Thursday, 5th October 2017
Pighog comes to Shoreham; one of Brighton’s longest-running live poetry nights, bringing new and established poets together for readings and discussion. The evening includes the always popular Pighog Open Mic – where audience members get the opportunity to get up and read their poems.
Pighog, the award-winning publisher based in Brighton, aims to deliver groundbreaking experiences of the spoken and written word. Poetry is at the heart of everything they do. “We believe that language is energy and that literary works harness that energy to create feeling, insight and imaginative experience to change minds and lives.”
